we are going to tell them we dont want to exchange gifts this yr. we need $ for a dinning room set. so we're trying to cut back on spending. we are still going to get his lil sis gifts... but as far as exchanging with parents.. ehhhhhhh no need.

FMIL insisted on a list in like, October... last year she yelled at me for not asking for enough 'ask and you'll get' she told me

since FH doesn't drink coffee and my roommate moved out in Sept and took her Keurig machine, I asked for one of those because I MISS IT SO MUCH and I can't wait for 2011 to have one again.
I also asked for various smaller things like perfume, pajamas from VS, giftcards, cd's... I haven't made a list like that since I was 15, but that's what they do , so when in Rome.... I would never expect to get all or even half of it, but hey, she asked.

My mother is insisting we need a new flat screen for our family room. I dont think we do...but she might buy it anyway. We dont usually get gifts from FH's parents.

I know that FMIL is buying FH a digital camera, but I have know idea what they are buying me-they always surprise me

i don't ask for things from my fils, since they don't have any money. usually they get something small for us as tokens, but they can't really afford much.

FMIL and FFIL let us pick out a new digital camera. We don't have one, FH used to use his moms and mine broke, so we will have one to use for honeymoon and everything
My parents are getting FH tools cuz he always borrows there drill gun and other tools

We actually told everyone we didn't want to do gifts this year. I know my mom and dad are getting us something small, but nothing too outrageous.
However, recently, a (really good) digital camera was purchased off our registry..........I can only imagine that is was FIL's that bought it

I suggested not exchanging but FBIL threw a fit like an 8 year old child so all we really need is stuff for the house. We're asking for BBB and Home Depot gift cards or for things off of our registry.

since exchanging gifts is NOT an option in FILs house we are asking for an ipod dock... even though we are broke with the wedding, i cant imagine not exchanging gifts on christmas! Im like a little kid!

Thats what I want to give her LOL.
They bought us stuff off the registry...they chose what they wanted to get us. It worked out because they bought us our everyday dishes.
