My worst fear is drowning. I always have nightmares of it.

Failure. I let my fear keep me from moving to NYC for 6 yrs. I finally decided that l'd rather try and fail then never try at all. I don't let my fear stop me from trying, but I do fear that I will never reach my dream and that I will look back on my career life as a dismal failure.

I am afraid of;
I am afraid i am going to have the same fate my cousin did 10 years ago. ever since he died in a car accident from a cement truck hitting him, i am afraid of getting hit by a truck and being killed!
someone follwing me behind me when i am walking if i dont know them and afraid of getting raped.
when i go to the beach and they have the hightide that people like to jump through or dive through i am extremely afraid of those because i got pull back to the shore by a hightide wave.

Blood and needles. Seriously! Whenever I used to get blood drawn at the Doctor's office, they would send me to the hospital because I would work myself into such a fury of stress that when they poked me with the needle I would pass out and go into a little mini-seizure! It happened also everytime I even SAW blood, my own or someone else's! I went to biofeedback for it (at my worried-parent's urging) and it definitely helped. No passing out in at least 2 years now!

well, just about all of the above, death, rape, accidents...
but the one everyone who knows me knows, is BUGS
any kind of bugs. Big bugs. Little bugs. Lady Bugs.
Flies, spiders, roaches, those nasty horrible centipedes, or cicadas, I dreaded last summer SO much.
I can't kill them, it takes SO much out of me to stomp them and then I can't pick up the nasty dead carcass. Ugh now I have the willies.

Rodents!! Rats, mice, chipmunks, raccoons, opossums, hampsters, gerbils... anything of that sort. I REFUSE to throw out the garbage at night because there will either be a rat or raccoon in the garbage can! I FREAK when I see rats on the subway tracks. I don't get the idea of a rodent as a pet either!

Drowning. I almost drowned twice when I was young. Once was while I was taking swimming lessons, and the teacher took awhile to see me. Go figure.

I am affraid of death, but not my own. I am affraid of losing everyone I love around me!! I am affraid of getting a phone call one day, or cops showing up at my door (which has already happened once in my life) telling me someone I love is gone forever!! That has to be my biggest and only fear in the world. Everything else I can handle!!
