Me and my friend are going to Salem, MA for Halloween and I want to dress up. I dont want to be anything gross and I have to be warm (I am always cold). Any ideas? What are you guys/gals doing?

DH and I just decided to have a party, so I'm not sure what I'll be...I did bring up what I thought was a great costume, but DH wasn't so into it. I thought we could be Shelly Duvall and Jack Nicholson from the Shining. I was going to wear Uggs and a long skirt and vest and run around waving a big knife and I wanted to make him a cardboard cut-out of the door that JN sticks his head through

um, probably a character from the nightmare before christmas. I haven't decided which one yet; probably Sally.
What I am everyday- Oscar The Grouch, and take my son trick or treating.

Nothing. We are going to a wedding on October 30th and flying back on the 31st. October 31st will also be our eight year dating anniversary.

My FH was 'white trash' two years ago and my girl friend was it last year. My FH wore overalls, a wife beater and a gas station shirt over it. He stuffed a pillow in his stomach to be fat, had dirty, mangled teeth, a mullet wig and a trucker hat. It was hysterical and he won the costume contest. My friend last year wore capri leggings, an ugly floral button down, had a bleach blond wig with ribbons in her hair and a fake leather white studded purse and shoes. agood one if you're going to be outside is a butterfly. Wear black pants, black coat and get nice colorful wings and paint your face.

FH and I came up with an idea we thought was so funny. He's going to be a pirate in search of 'booty' and I'm going to be the pirate's booty! I'm oing to get a beige shirt and make it into a treasure map, heading for the booty!

The baby is going to be Winne the Pooh.
ETA: Have fun in Salem. We did that years ago and I had a blast. I wore an army outfit because I didn't feel like dressing up and I wanted to be comfortable and warm. It is COLD around that time of year there.
