We're using silk rose petals outside & then using ribbon wands at our reception hall (off the yacht)

We are only allowed to throw birdseed unfortunately.

Thanks ladies! I really want to do rose petals but my church said~ we're thinking about doing it anyway- and giving them some extra $~

We're having that conversation now... everyone wants rice or birdseed...

I want ribbons and some others suggested bubbles.

i just would rather not have things thrown at me...when I was little I used to pelt people with the rice- i thought it was funny....

We are not allowed to throw anything (although I know brides have done so in the past) so I decided to do ribbon wands

I think rose petals, not sure yet whether to use real or silk

Ladies with bubbles...be careful. I dont know if its true, but I've heard that the bubbles can leave a stain on your dress. Again---not sure of the validity but thought I'd throw this caution out there for consideration.

There are bubbles at Michael's that say they won't stain your dress. I heard about this too but I know there are some ones out there that won't.
