What are everyone's plans for ceremony music? Live or recorded? Specific song or the traditional wedding march or something totally different?

We are having a pianist for the ceremony. I don't know what modern songs are in his catalog-we booked through absolute entertainment. I hope he can play '1000 years' for when I walk down the aisle. I was thinking of 'you and me' by lifehouse for the bridal party and 'best day of ours lives' by American authors. Again, this line up May change depending on what the pianist can learn so we shall see!

Probably this! Our DJ is doing our ceremony music. Or A Thousand Years (maybe an instrumental version of it). I also really like 'Reign of Love' by Coldplay - again probably the instrumental version. :)

We booked a string quartet and are having them play 'we found love' (lindsey sterling version on youtube) for the bridal march, and 'to make you feel my love' for when I walk down the aisle.

My Dj is doing the ceremony music for us and I am a big Beatles fan so, the bridal party is walking in to an instrumental version of In My Life, I am walking down to an instrumental version of Something and the recessional will be to All You Need is Love (like in Love Actually)

We are having the ceremony at a church, but the organist doesn't mind doing the music we want. We will be giving him a CD of the music so he can hear how it normally sounds and the tempo, and give him the sheet music. We will have Storybook Love from Princess Bride as the Processional and Throne Room from Star Wars Episode IV for the Recessional.
While people are entering and being seated we will have the usual classical music, Bach and Pachelbel.
Good Luck with your decision.
