What are you doing for your Bach Party? (and how much $$$)
I've seen so many fun bach party ideas posted on here but I'm really curious about cost! We're planning to do AC (current plan is to take the bus down Sat AM, stay Sat night at the Tropicana, and then come back Sun night -- dinner at Carmines, the rest TBA and it should be around $200pp including meals)
If you know (and feel comfortable) please post what you are doing/have done for yours or any other bach parties you have been to, and the cost!
We originally considered the hamptons but ruled it out because of price, and even Mohegan Sun was more expensive! We also considered NYC but it didnt seem to be much cheaper (we wanted to spend the night somewhere)
I think we're pretty set on AC, but I'm really curious to see what these other fun things are costing!

A bachelorette party I attended last year (I was a BM) cost me about $350-400. That included a hotel room in the city, dinner, LIPS, and another bar that we stopped at along the way.
For mine we are going to the Spa at East wind for the day, then heading back to my BMs house (she lives in the Hamptons) for a cooking class/dinner and then something else that i'm not supposed to know about lol Hopefully it doesnt come out to be too much for everyone but i was told not to worry. So i'm not sure

That sounds like so much fun! Too bad I dont know anyone in the Hamptons -- one friend suggested that we stay in a ratty motel in the hamptons but if it rains, where does that leave us? I'd rather stay somewhere somewhat nice...

We are doing a morning mani/pedi with some breakfast and cocktails. Then meeting up at night at my SIL house before we go out at night. We'll have some games and cocktails and then we're taking a limo to this country western bar/club where they have line dancing and the mechanical bull. We're doing a bit of a cowgirl theme at night! All I kept saying was 'I want to ride the bull for the party' I have great group of girls so I know it will be fun. All should cost a little less than $200 including drinks and transportation I think. Hope this helps :)

i'm going to AC also we are all spliting a room, going to the beach in the morning, dinner( nothing fancy) and than dancing drinking and gambeling and sunday wee going to the outlets on our way home. if we were to stay in the city i felt we would spend the same or if not more due to the fact that we would rent a limo, sorry if that was no help! lol

From what I have been told - we are going up to my friend's - friend's house near Saratoga to stay Fri/Sat - hit the race track and casino for a little fun & drinks - and hang out by the lake - the girls also mentioned something about the spa. I am so freakin' excited - we will also have a dinner out one night near home for the girls who could not get away (some travel for work, are moms, etc) I really do not know what it will cost - For the homeowner I am buying a spa gift certificate so that is $100 - gambling & drinking is different for each person and we'll car pool to get there

my girls got a limo for the evening and we went bar hopping around the city. I think they spent $150 for the limo and dinner each. Then they spent $$ on drinks. So it probably ended up being $200 each.

for my MOH's shower we went to the city, ate at Carmines and went to a club afterwards. We stayed the night and got breakfast in the morning.
The entire trip was about $200-$300 each

We are going out to dinner and then to the off-Broadway play My First Time. Since my FSIL's have children I figured we would do something local and low key. Then at the end of August, my BM's and I are going to Florida to stay at a resort for a weekend.

This is what I think mine will cost. I am 98% sure we are going on a cruise to nowhere - norwegian cruise lines. Depending on how many people go (3rd and 4th person in each room is 1/2 off basically) it should be 150-180pp and that includes three meals and any admission to clubs, bars, comedy shows, etc that they have. Only thing extra is drinks, and of course shopping and gambling.
I think $200-250 is an acceptable amount to spend on a b-party. Any more than that and I usually say no, because I still have the shower gift to buy and the wedding gift to give, and if I am in the wedding party, there's the dress, shoes, hair and makeup most likely, and other expenses....

We are heading to Vegas for 4 days. The airfare was $350/person and the hotel (MGM Grand) works out to $170/person. Then spending money.
There are 8 of us going.

www.ncl.com is the norwegian website! You should call though to get details - that is how I found out that the 3rd and 4th people in each room get discounted, and when you average it out, it's much cheaper than the advertised price ($179 plus taxes and such = $227)
