I have heard people say I should see FH the night before the wedding as well as the morning of the wedding.
Is this silly?
What is everyone doing the night before?

We'll probably see each other the day before, but that night he is going to stay at the hotel where all of the out of town guests will be. So he won't see me again until I walk down the aisle.

fh will be staying at our apartment and i am staying at my moms. i will not see him until i walk down the aisle.

My bridal party and I will be staying at the hotel near the hall since we all live in Westchester. FH isn't sure where he's staying, but he and his friends may stay at the hotel too. We'll see each other for photos before the ceremony.

I'll be in Sag Harbor with my mother sitting outside at B.Smith's on the dock with a glass of Champagne, and then going to bed early :)

I think that depends on the couple. A friend of mine had breakfast with her fiance' the morning of. For them it was best, because he is a very calming influence on her and she needed to relax. We won't see each other the day of the wedding, but plan on spending the day before together. We actually want to plan something fun - nonwedding related.

we have our rehearsal the night before. Then I will stay with my parents. He will probably go hoem to his parent's house. I'd love to see him teh mrongin of , but it loks liek the hair & makeup fiasco is starting at 10 am for a 4pm wedding!
FH will still be sleeping in Westchester!

The bridal party (which is small) and anyone they are dating who is not in the bridal party are coming by our place the night before for movies and snacks. I want a wedding movie theme so we'll have American Wedding and Just Married. Then the guys will leave and go to the hotel while the girls will stay with me. The morning of FH will stop by with his guys on the way to his parent's house to pick up flowers and say good morning.

My bridesmaids and I are staying at my mom's house the night before. We are going to go sometime that afternoon and go swimming and then do dinner and relax a bit. Our make-up and hair ladies are coming at 5:30AM the day of the wedding!!!! We have to all be ready by 8AM. My ceremony starts at 11:15AM.
But FH and I are spending all Friday together.

My sister and I are staying at the hotel the night before and FH will be sleep at our apartment. We'll see each other before the ceremony, but it will probably be orchestrated so that we can capture him seeing me for the first time in my wedding gown.

I will be at the suite of our hotel the night before the wedding , while FH will be hanging with his brothers and then sleeping at his mom's house. We live in Westchester and neither of us (esp. me) were going to drive out to LI the morning of the wedding!
A few of my friends wanted to hang out with them the night before the wedding , but they are big party girls and I dont want to get all sloshed and wake up bloated the next day. Besides I really just want that night to relax and pamper myself .. I love my alone time

The night before I may see FI - but probably not since he will be golfing with the boys and all the girls are going for manicures, pedicures and massages. But I definately am not seeing him the morning of. I want him to be so surprised when I walk down the aisle.

We will probably have dinner together then I will go to mom's and have a 'good old days' slumber party with my sister and he will go back to our apartment.
