What are you doing/did you do the night of your bridal shower?

Three of my BMs are from OOT so I'll be so excited to have them here. Did you go out after? Did you just hang out at home? What will you do? When my BM got married a few years ago, the MOH and I stayed at her house. I remember we were playing with all her new gifts! lol

my shower was over by 4-430, so after we dropped off all our stuff at MIL's house, me, DH, and my BMs went out for drinks. i actually turned into a rowdy nite!

I had my bachelorette party after my bridal shower. It worked out perfect!

I didnt really have anyone out of town BUT everyone did come back to my house after and we went through our gifts and our wishing well gifts..all of the guys were at my house during the shower so my mother catered food to the house for them and then we all ate again when we got home. It was a lot of fun ....i bet your going to be really tired after opening all of your gifts....lol it was a lot of work but we all came back to look at everything!!!

while we are having the bridal shower in a private room of the restaurant, the men will be drinking and eating at another part of the restaurant, after the bridal shower is over we will all probably meet up and maybe go out.

after it was over, we went to fh's house and had other things to discuss with his family. WE stayed there for a bit. BUT we had to take half of the gifts to my apartment bc didnt want to leave all of them in fh's garage so we had work to do. We packed his car, then had to take it to my apartment. Then had to make sure to package some of the stuff back carefully and then stored them. It was already late by the time we got to my house and i was exhausted to go out and it was late considering we all worked the next day. Also we went to visit my dad for a bit, so by the time we sat down and relaxed it was like 10:30pm or 11pm.

my shower was from 12noon - 4pm
then we went by my moms house - chilled there till like 11:30 at night - i dont know how i made it - and then we went clubbing till 3in the morning
dont know how they got me out of the house - i was sooooo tired - but we had a blast!

my shower is at my aunt's house- so we were going to hang out there afterwards- she has a pool and if its nice we can go swimming & relax

I will have to bring everything back to my place to put it in my attic

Not looking forward to that. That reminds me, I *must* make it a priority to clean out my attic soon!

But I hope that once I do that, I would go out with FH and whoever else for drinks / dinner / etc.

i do have to say i didnt have any OOT guests, well fh's aunt from upstate. but no bp or anything like that from OOT

hm.. i don't know what we'll do. it's over at 4:30 and we'll probably have to go back to my apt to bring the gifts back. fh has a yankee game but i think he's going to leave early since it's my shower (thank goodness b/c i don't think he planned to ).

so i'm not sure what we'll do that night. probably go out to dinner or something with whoever's around

I think we'll probably just end up going home and sorting through the gifts. If there is time after, we'll have dinner with FMIL since she will be in town for the shower.

i don't know. My shower is a surprise so i don't even know a time and day. Fh an I live in CT now so if its on a sunday we will probably bring everything back up here. If its on a Sat and when I am thinking it is ;) we might stay on LI the night and all go out w/ bm, fbil, and friends. its killing me not knowing but they say we are ahving a surprise bday for my mom around the time i know my mom would do the shower and i know invites went out b/c some one slipped oops.

I wish I could've done any one of these things! We had to go to a pre-cana session!!! I think we were home for about 30 minutes before we had to rush out. I didn't even get a chance to show FH most of the gifts...
