what are you engraving on wedding band?

i have no idea what is 'typically' engraved - the date? your name? FH name? both? something else?
please help, im clueless!

i was thinking on his 'till death do we part, you go first'

He's been telling me he's going to put on mine 'not even a little' on my ring because its a joke between us. I tell him I love him so much he tells me i dont like you, not even a little.

I told him on his ring i am going to put i love you so much and on mine not even a little.

I dont know if we'll actually do it that way, but we joke about it

prncssrachel- i had to comment after reading your post. fi wants a titanium ring with this specific design that reminds him of lord of the rings- even though it doesn't resemble it at all. he would LOVE 'lord of the ring' on his band. ha

Hahaha! I always laugh at FH because he's such a littleboy in so many ways, but I think it's cute. At least they're not totally into Star Wars or else they would want something like 'May the force be with you' or something. Hahaha.

We put each other's name on it. Our jeweler recommended that we didn't put too much on it because if we have to resize it at some point, the engraving would get messed up.

I think we'll put the date when we first dated (back in college), the date we started dating again (three years ago), and our wedding date. If it's too much, we may just drop the wedding date.
