We are taking them out to dinner to a very expensive restaurant that we know they will love. They can't wait!!!!! (Edited to add:Of course its our treat.)

We usually take my mother out for the day - this year it's going to be at Belmont Park, hopefully in the garden terrace dining room. She's been wanting to go there for years so we know she'll love it.
Usually in the past we took her to a matinee on broadway and then to a nice dinner.

I love when they give us lists on what they want. It makes shopping so much easier.This way you are guaranteed to make them happy.

It's soooo true! DH mom is never happy I like to buy gifts - I love to shop and I think it shows you gave it some thought. She always says 'I would have rathered the $$'. This year we're just gonna give her the mooolah!

For her b-day I got the Miracle Blade III Knives, but I never got her the knife block, becaseu she threw out the other one, but now she wants the block!!!

Fh and I are taking the cheap way out - our E picutes were taken 2 weeks ago and we should get the prints before the day. No one has seen the pictures, so we're thinking of giving them each a framed picture
