well last cycle we BD every day for 3 days around O and it was exhausting. LOL So we're doing every other day, even around O.

I also started taking Bee Pollen and Royal Jelly. I wanted to take it anyway for the health benefits, but I read it can help with TTC too... forget how though (think BP can help with CM).

And I'm not using OPK's this month. Just extra money and extra stress to not have to deal with.

I like this!! I think I'm going to try it too!!

What do green tea, royal jelly & bee pollen do?

I'm adding the OPKs this month.

I'm excited to have a game plan this month.

I'm charting religiously this month. As soon as my eyes open I take my temperature and chart. I used OPKs again too like I have in the past. I also tired Ovulex which is supposed to help make O last longer and increase CM - I've heard some success stories with it so I figured it can't hurt. I was going to try decaf green tea too but I'm just not a tea person, I will try next time though. Oh yeah are we BD'd every other day until I O'd and then when I got the surge on my OPK we BD'd 2 days in a row.

i charted for three months before the m/c and loved it - i felt like i was doing something every day to contribute to ttc....

but unfortunately, i was driving dh crazy with the beeping of the thermometer each morning and he said he was getting 'stressed out' every time he heard it. he said it reminded him of how badly i wanted this and he felt it was his fault that i was so unhappy. (like he was doing something wrong to prevent me from getting pg)

so, unhappily, i gave up my precious charting to save my poor dh's sanity....

p.s. do they make silent bbts?

Silent BBTs would be really great!!
Why not chart your temp with a regular old fashined mercury thermometer? At least you will have a temp to chart each morning and see when its moving a little.

They have plain ole mercury BBT's just remember to shake it down after you take your temp in the morning because if you wake up and ahve to sit there and shake it for three minutes and then take your temp, it is going to mess with it.

i know, i thought of that but i have a very hard time reading them.

and i know if dh sees me now straining to read an old-fashioned thermometer and shaking it down afterwards, he is going to get just as anxious....

unfortunately, by me doing all this stuff to ttc, i am making him very nervous and upset with this process. and i feel terrible because this is supposed to be fun and i think he is beginning to dread o'time because everything feels so 'planned'.....

i feel so bad for him - i need to stop obsessing!!

I would still chart CF and CP and use opk's..then you can still know when y ou are ovulating and it won't be as obvious to DH

I think i read that bee pollen can increase CM too. But i think it has to do with regulating hormones.

Ok, found this:
Bee Pollen has been shown to be helpful in lowering prolactin and raising progesterone and is loaded with naturally occurring and highly usable B-Vitamins. It is a natural antibiotic and immune enhancer and is a complete food in itself.

And Royal Jelly helps your immune system too. It is thought to maybe help prevent cancers or slow it down... so with my family history of cancer I wanted to start taking it. It also helps slow down aging and so many other things (like also regulating hormones). It's also an antibiotic.
