i bought rose petals from ortientaltrading.com
they were real cheap - something like $2 a bag. and they had a bunch of different colors to choose from. (just make sure your church allows you to throw them)

I would love rose petals, but do I want to worry about them staining my dress - DEFINITELY NOT. Bubbles are cute....no rice though - that goes in too many different places!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG - that is horrible. I would have never thought they could stain a dress!!! that poor bride!!
Well, she got red ones, so maybe if you get a lighter color, but yeah,there were little pinkish stains all over the bottom of her dress and one on her bodice (i don't know how, she thinks proballly some kid smooshed one up before he threw it) I also think that's the reason some church's don't allow it, so on that note, I am going w/ silk ones

i was thinking either cones or wrapping little bundles in tulle. i am not sure yet.

i dont think i want anything, my friend had bubbles at her wedding 2 years ago and the bubbles stained her bridesmaids dresses.... so i like the rose pedal idea, but i am gonna have pedals on the walkway, so no need to throw them, well see
