what are you ladies paying for flowers...everything ceremony to reception....bouquets, bout, crosages

i need help i got a quote that i think is great but FH is not willing to spend that type of money for flowers an i want to scratch his eyes out

also can anyone recommend florist other than the vendors on the board
i was quoted $4180

even though the pieces are magnificent i can't believe that thats a good price i want them but we wont pay for that

I set my budget at 2K it can sway either way when it comes down to choosing EXACTLY what I want but that is our target FH thinks it's too much for flowers till he realied how much flowers it is..

We went to Burtons on Rt 110. Our budget was 3K and he came right there for everything we needed. I have high centerpieces also.

I heard Burtons is booking up fast for summer and they are not accepting any more July brides, so if you were interested in looking into them, I would try to make an appointment asap. Best of luck.

We are using M & F florist in Islip. I worked with Maggie and then Barbara, they are both wonderful ladies and cannot say enough about them. W/O CP's I am getting:

My bo-k- roses and callas
MOH bo-k roses and callas
4 BM's bo-ks -callas
10 boots-callas
3 mother's corsages-roses
2 fg basket's filled with flowers
rose petals for throwing and cake
2 delivery locations

$800

Our CP's come with the hall. I have seen their cp's in shows and books and they are BEAUTIFUL!!!

my budget was $2000.00 .. my florist came $300.00 under! (and I have alot of flowers and CP's)

Just under $4K and that's with a discount. But I think I'm gonna do less bows fot the church I wanted them to go through out the whole church so I was getting 30 (15 on each side. church is huge) and that was $240. That would just be a waste of $$$

Way Too much!!! LOL-I am spending A LOT but love my florist and trust him greatly. In hindsight I may have gone cheaper but I know my ceremony/hall and bouquets will be amazing!! Plus for what I am spending I can have any flower of my choice-which makes it a little easier since I am so indecisive!!

I am going to a florist in Brooklyn (Marine) on Flatbush and flatlands.

For 1300 I am getting:

My bok
3 BM bok
1 MOH bok
2 Mom corsages
1 sister corsage
10 butoneires
1 home arrangement
8 pews with ribbons and flowers
2 altar arrangements
6 low centerpeices
1 large oblong centerpiece for bride & groom table
rose petals
throw away

he would have added a fg basket, but i am not having one.

our budget was 2K and we are coming in below that for the bridal bo-k, 5 BM bo-k, MOB and MOG bo-k, 12 centerpieces, ceremony flowers for arch, a throw bo-k and the 10 flowers for the guys.

I'm spending 3K for my bouquet, 5 BM, 9 bouts, 2 fingertips for moms, 1 corsage for grams, 2 high alter pieces, pew flowers, 17 centerpieces (all orchids), sweetheart table, and petals.
