what are you ladies placing on your tables?

Original post by Junebride62108

Aside from favors, are you ladies putting anything else on the tables - mints, etc?

If you guys are putting favors on a separate table, how do you make sure people take only the appropriate amount? For example, I'm doing wine favors, so another table might be great since wine will take up space on the tables...but I am only giving one bottle per couple. How can I make sure each couple only takes one?

I know that I'm doing it I guess the traditional Italian way? At the end of the night, I will say good night to each person by the favor table and hand them their favor. FSIL and my best friend did this last year at their weddings and it worked VERY well. It's a nice way to say thanks for coming in a personal way and give them your token of thanks.

This is the way our family does it as well and how I did it for our E-Party.

Great idea, however, we are leaving before our guests in an antique car - everyone will throw rose petals :) So, I can't stand there and hand them out...

The RH can place them at the tables when they serve cake. I have seen it done this way a bunch of times.

This is what our table settings looked like, maybe it will help you to see:

We had a menu at each place setting, with a mint box, match boxes, and our favors (wine bottles). And table #s, of course.

Do you remember the size of the table? Or, how many people could sit?
