I have to ask to all the brides out there, what are you planning to do with your wedding dress after you wear it on your day, (give it away, store it in the attic ) etc etc

Re: What are you planning on doing......
I was thinking of donating it to a charity so someone else could wear it for their wedding.

I would like to sell it, but when I told my mother that she nearly had a heart attack. I have no idea what I'll do with it if I keep it.

What a great idea....love it! That is something that you can pass down. Everyone thinks their daughter will wear their wedding dress....but you know everyone wants to find their own dress!

my mom actually did that for someone.... it came out great.. it looked just like the gown but in a mini version of course more baby looking with capped sleeves and stuff...
i'm thinking a communion dress... at least more of the fabric would get used!

Re: What are you planning on doing......
I plan on keeping mine for my children down the road. Not just to wear, but maybe to sew a swatch of my dress into theirs or to use in some other way.
I wish my Mom saved hers and I could have done something like that.
