What are you spending on Invitations (Poll)

Got my first quote on invitations yesterday and its more than I wanted to spend but I love them. I know it depends on how many you need etc. but just wondering what everyone is spending on theirs. Thanks

You can always order invitation yourself online and its cheaper... try:

and another one i think is anns bridal boutique (you would have to search this one)

what do they look like? I went to the store looked at books then found mine online and got a price from that and then went somewhere and they were able to beat it.

Debi and Fred are ready to order their's, and when Debi told me they're going to be $300+, my reaction was Mary MOB

PS That's for 100 invitations, and RSVP's.

Debi called!! The invitations were ordered today, and should be here on Jan. 29th.!!!!!!!!

Funny this post was up cause after yesterday i was going to post it today.

FH and I went and got quotes.
After everything was said and done, the invites came out to, with everything, from 1300-2300 bucks!

Is that insane or what????

Doesnt the price depend on how many invitations you need? and are you including the rsvp envelopes and cards in this price?

Because I know that when we did the invitations there was a big difference in price for ordering 50 invitations verse 100 or 150. So my price might seem really high or low next to someone else's who needed less or more.

how the heck is everyone spending so little on invites??? I spent $360 on my bridal shower invites alone i wish i knew how to budget i'm so jealous of you girls!!!!

Ours was for 100 invites with the RSVP card/envelope. It came to a total with tax, shipping $857. I love the invitation but wasnt really banking on spending that much.

I paid 800 for my invites for 225 people, response cards, and self seal envelopes. I also got a satin bow on each envelope

Mine is about the same...it is for 250 invites, plus a different invitation(Cheaper) written in italian for all my family there.

I believe i'll be around the $200 mark for 100 invites.... i cant see spending sooo much $$ on something that most of the guests are gonna throw away

We spent $823 for 150 invitations w/ bows tied around each, 150 outter envelopes w/ satin liner and return addresses, 150 rsvp cards and 150 rsvp envelopes w/ our address printed.

We got this same quote on Thursday!! We have to order 150 invites and this is what makes it more expensive! Plus what they called all the added bells and whistles!!

MINE WERE 1000 and they arent even the ones i wanted--they were so much more!!!

i dont know why they were so expensive-but they are thick--i did NOT get the LINER in the envelope or the fancy response card either
