do you mean what you pay for? honestly you are not obligated to pay for any of those things. Bride does not pay for dress, hair, make up or jewelry. The only thing you do give to BM's is a gift. However, alot of ppl will decide that instead of giving a gift they will pay for their dresses, which again is optional and you'll see that majority of bm's pay for their own dress. SOme brides give their bm's jewelry for day of as a gift so in this case if you give it as a gift then yes you can do that. Hair and make up again its the bm who pays but SOME girls will pay for their hair and make up as their gift to their bm's. Its all up to you but none of those things are things you are supposed to do and obligated to do.

I bought all my bm gifts but i bought them purses. MOH however i gave her a gift and also paid for her hair and make up but again this was a gift to her.

ETA: if by provide you mean just pick out then yes the bride normally picks it, however you can get ideas from your bm's. I picked 15 dresses and told them to pick their favorite from those.

Jewelry-if you want to tell them what jewelry to wear its up to you. I let them pick whatever. Also with hair and make up i let them do whatever but i do see alot of brides who tell them what hairstyle to do

I offered to pay a little toward all the girls' hair the day of but only because I wanted a specific hair dresser to do the hair and she was a bit overpriced...
For a gift, I got the girls their day of necklaces...

They are paying for their dresses, make up, most of hair, nails, shoes and earrings if they want to wear them.

Re: What are you suppose to...

ok.. so far i paid for their dresses, and i'm offering them a choice of hair or make up, plus i'm paying for their manicure and pedicure..

i told them they can buy their own accessories and shoes...

am i going way over board?

why do i feel bad NOT paying for everything?

i figured i was suppose to pay for everything since i asked them to be part of the party??

am i wrong?

youre not wrong for doing it, just as long as you know that there is no rule that you pay for these things and no obligations. If you do it then thats a gift to them i guess. When you are in a bp you just know that you will have expenses such as bm dress, hair, make up and that sort of stuff and when you accept to be a bm you know that so dont feel bad.

Ive seen a few girls who will pay for the dress or do just make up and hair, not usually pay for EVERYTHING and even paying for one or the other you rarely see.

How many bm's do you have? We had 22 in our bp so i couldnt even imagine lol. I mean we bought nice generous gifts and that alone was alot

If I do pay for anything for my BMs, it will just be by giving them their DOJ as a gift. They are purchasing their dresses & shoes, and I'm not requiring any special hair or makeup - that's on them if they want to get it done.

You really don't have to pay for anything. I've been in several weddings and I have always paid for everything. All you really need to do is buy them a gift as a thanks.
