I was thinking about rose petals. Then a saw a picture of dried pink rose buds with lavendar. It looks so pretty in the tossing cone, but I'm not sure if the lavendar is going to stick in my Grooms hair gel

we're doing that heartshaped rice/birdseed. Our church doesn't allow anything else.

My dad just told me that at his previous job, which he was at for 19 years.....he saved all the hole punchings he ever made to throw at me at my wedding......I think we're gonna do it at the engagement party though....isn't that sweet?!!

I am considerign nothing, not even streamers or bubbles.
I don't rally want things thrownat me. We're really low key. I'd rahter jsut wak out- peopel can aploud & take pictures if they want & we'll greet everyone & then move on.
Why make a mess?
Our priest is new, but she said she thinks birdseed is fine, so the fake rice is probabaly ok, but I hate things shaped like hearts (I know, its tiny, but still) she's not sure about rose petals, but she thinks it would make a mess.
I remeber YEARS ago, goign toa wedign with ym mom & bringing our own rice. . .its all gottenso complicated

Neither does ours and I really wanted rose petals. We will probably end up throwing the hearshaped rice. I don't want to get bubbles and have it be too cold for people to blow them. Or, if it snows you wouldn't even be able to see the bubbles. I also like the wand idea too.
