What are you using

I am having my wedding inside the reception hall. What is everyone having thrown at them ? They told me I can use anything but I just don't know what to use. Plus I don't want to use bubbles so I am out of ideas. Please help! I want something different.

I wanted to use rose petals but our church won't let us. So, either bubbles or nothing. It depends on how cold it is.

How about streamer wands? No cleanup necessary and they come out really nice in pics.

my friend had white feathers thrown at them. she had them placed in cones strategically located on aisle chairs. you can purchase the feathers at rag shop, joann's, etx. they def don't hurt like how rice would. some of hte feathers landed on her veil which made it look very nice and very pretty in photos, too. i also love the rose petals! i'm jsut not a fan of the rice thing. ppl can also slip when stepping their heels onto rice. not a pretty sight.

I'm using 'Fake Snow' called Scatterflake.

Up close it looks like tiny bits of Wax Paper cut up - but it's big enough that it won't get lost in your hair.

this is a little random, but i read it in one of the bride's mags recently and thought it was a cute idea: some bride was a collector of bells, so she got bells from all over the world and gave them as favors. there was one on each chair during the ceremony, and everyone rang theirs as the new mr. and mrs. exited the ceremony.

not for everyone, but i thought it was really cute.

We're using rose petals, but my back up was ribbon wands. you can also attach bells to them too. I like the bell idea for the winter. FM me if you want directions for the ribbon wands.
