old = a diamond and sapphire ring I inhereted from my Oma (grandma). It's about 50-60 years old.

Originally it was going to be my 'blue', but I finally caved and got blue on my garter....

Borrowed will be the pearls my mom wore at her wedding

My something old is going to be the material from my mom's dress that we will wrap my flowers in. And my grandmother's handkerchief

I had 2 somethings old.
My e-ring was my mom's so that was one. The other was a piece of lace from my mom's wedding gown that the florist wrapped around my BoK.

Also, DH joked that he was my something old!!

My wedding band has diamonds from one of my mom's rings (she passed away two years ago) and some from my FH aunt's rings.

My borrowed is my sis's veil.

Blue - I still have to work on that.

heh, in that case, I'm 'something old'

I should tell everyone that, and use the sapphire ring for 'blue'

Why can't it be both old and blue at the same time?

(Not you - the ring! )

Too funny b/c I was trying to get this one ring we're having made out of my grandmother's setting, FH's uncle's diamond, and sapphire side stones as my wedding present to be all 4 things... only thing it wasn't was borrowed, though. (I told FH to put the new stones on a credit card we would pay off after the wedding, but that WOULD be cheating!!)

My something old will be my father's red hankerchief. He just passed away and it will be a little piece of him their with me. I am tying my bouquet in the hankerchief. He always had a red one hanging out of his pocket!

'Old' will be my grandmother's pearl ring. I think. 'Borrowed' is a string of pearls from my boss, which is also 'old.'
