I wanted to use rose petals until my church said 'no rose petals' ! Oh well. We are gonna use bubbles.

I don't know what we're using yet.. We're doing it inside, so we may use bells, or something like that..

thanks girls! is it really true what they say about bubbles staining dresses? ive always seen bubbles and loved them but i dont want to ruin any dresses!!

I wanted to use rose petals, but my church charged me for a cleanup fee. I went with bubbles, it was much cheaper, and looked so nice in the pics

We're using dreid lavender buds.....smells pretty and cleans up easily.

I love the look of bubbles...but make sure you warn your BMs not to open them too close to their dresses...I've been to a couple of weddings where one (or more) of the BM has a big wet spot in the front of her dress in the pictures right outside the church. It might not stain....but it shows up in pictures while it's still wet!!

We have to use bubbles also at our church. They said it is a liability issue. Oh well, I think bubbles will work out just fine.

I'm using ribbon wands - they're sticks with ribbon tied to the end of them. I don't know if I'm gonna switch to rose petals though, I might.

I love bubbles. And when I think about it I imagine that commercial with the woman with a huge machine bubble gun...

no the wedding bubbles do not stain....

I cut my train off and with the extra fabric I did some tests...


I started by blowing bubbles at the fabric...and the bubbles actually popped right when they hit...then I took the wand and spread some of the bubbles on the fabric...nothing...then I poured the bubbled directly on it...still nothing...


regular bubbles kids use DO stain...you just have to make sure that you get the wedding bubbles...
