My shower is this Thursday - a Cocktail Shower!!! I'm not sure what to wear.....I was thinking a white flowy skirt and a nice top from anthropologie. My FH said it's not dressy enough but i've never been to a shower before - what do brides usually wear??? xthanks!!

I bought a really cute dress from Ann Taylor Loft this weekend. They had tons of cute dresses on sale.

Re: What are you wearing to your shower?
I wore a white skirt, with colored embroidered flowers, and a red sleeveless top (matched the flowers), with red open-toe shoes.
My shower was at my sister's house though, in the afternoon. The same outfit probably would be too casual for a cocktail party shower. Sorry--I have no pics yet!

It was the strapless(with small spaghetti straps if you chose to wear them) pink and beige print flowers- the skirt was slightly full. I love it! Which one did you get?

No clue what I will be wearing. It's a surprise so it depends on where I think I am going. Probably a skirt or capris or dress pants.

Mine was this past Saturday. I wore a black skirt with a brown silk shirt and cute open toe shoes.
