My dress is tight, tight, tight down to my hips and so I bought spanx. My mom said I don't need them but I don't want to chance lumps or bumps....especially after I eat!!! So the ones I got are shorts and so ugly! I hate to think that I have to wear this ugly thing underneath but I don't have a choice!

We don't know of we r doing garter yet but if we do I don't want the chance that someone may catch a glimpse of the ugly spanx!!!!!

My only other option is the spanx that are a slip instead of the shorts but don't know how these feel as far as mobility!

I will have so much paraphenalia under my dress that I doubt Spanx will do much good for me. Spanx also makes pantyhose - maybe this would be a better option for you?

I think I am going to go for spanx. My dress isn't as tight, but slim cut. I will take the chance of people seeing the spanx over any bulges.

You know what...I am considering the spanx that are cut like underwear at the bottom but so scared you will see it! The shorts seem like the way to go!
