Ok as i said before I am going to pedestals tonight to see a sample of my CP. But i want to change my altar arrangements, its not necessary i do it right now but if i think of something real good then i can. As of now we have 2 calla altar arrangements and 12 calla pew bows. I don't know but for pew bows and altar arrangements i think i'd rather do something other than calla's.
so what are you having? i need ideas
and i know certain flowers but im not that great with flowers. I know their orchids but what kind of orchids are in this picture? I think i know the name but i dont want to go in there and ask for the wrong thing like an idiot. I think this would be good for pew bows

Yup, not doing any either. The church has them there, and its our way of saving $$$!

Maybe they're vandas? I know vandas flower all the way to the end..

i didn't think to ask my church first if they have arrangements so far nobody is having them. I think some churches don't need them but i think flowers in the church were getting married in will add a little something. I could've saved money with this if i knew when we booked over a year ago haha

Our church doesn't need anything... I prob wouldn't have done them anyway - I never notice them...

i thought everybody did them when i booked a while ago lol.
i like calla's obviously but i dont know im trying to picture them on a pew and i think something else would go better...i mean im sure it will look nice but i saw a picture once of those HUGE orchid arrangements on the side with an aisle runner and it looked so nice...Now this was done on a large scale so i wont do that but to give a little bit of that effect i guess.

I suggest that you just ask that's why they paid-you should also bring the photo-our RH provides all except pew bows. So we are going with the archer, florals and runner.

yeah i'll ask, i just wanted to make it simple instead of saying ok let me see pictures of all types of orchids. We're getting there at 8pm so i dont want to get back to late since FH and i are going to eat dinner after. I'd bring in a picture but my printer is acting stupid now.
Do you know what arrangements they are using for yours?
see i was thinking maybe something more colorful will work better

Denise find out if they are going to decorate the church. I know that there is a Communion right before my wedding and I am hoping that they tell me they have decorated for that and I can save some money with the alter flowers. You may be able to do the same

OUr ceremony we booked for 3:30 and we asked if we can change it to 2:30 and THANK GOD it was still available. I saw when he took out the book and nope. I think communions typicall are on sundays right? otherwise it would've been perfect since we're getting married in may so there would've definitely been a communion

My church has a communion booked right before us, I questioned the Deacon cause I was afraid we wouldnt get the music for that date. My priest from another parish whos marrying us by my home is doing one too. If they only do sundays by you ask if they can put there flowers out a day early LOL it cant hurt to ask

I'm using the same florist as you and they have a basic altar arrangement that you can use..ask them to see what it looks like. It actually looks almost like the first pic you posted. What time are they opened until?
