What are your flower girls wearing??? Poll and Pics...
Anyway here's the situation. I wanted to put my one of FG who is very young and small (only 3 yrs old) in the David's bridal dress (the first one) which coordinates with the BM gowns and have my other FG who is a little older and taller in a gown that looks like mine. (the second one or the third one).
But I'm worried that it won't look right if they are in two different dresses. They would both be in white though.
The other problem is that FH says that if I don't dress his godddaughter (the younger one) like me, his sister (her mom) will get very upset. I think that a dress like mine will be somewhat overpowering on a 3 yr old. I just don't see her cooperating in it. Meanwhile, I know my cousin would be fine in it.
SO, my questions are what are you girls doing with your FGs? Are you dressing them like you, the BMs, or in a different dress entirely but same colors? Are they in a color or in white? I thought this part was going to be easy and turns out it's NOT!!! My mom also more than hinted that she wants my cousin to wear a gown like mine!!!

My FG fell in love with her dress so we got it for her... i dont have mine yet but chances are....it wont look like mine. but it is white

Here is my flower girl dress..its more like the bride in the pic since her dress has matching gloves. But the dress is in ALL ivory not ivory metalic. and I like that her fabric matches my dress even if its not the same design

My girls are wearing Amethyst satin and will carry pink flowers. I am putting my FG in a very pale pink dress. I do not like when a FG is dressed to look like a mini-bride and that second dress you posted will be totally overwhelming on a child. I think you should go with your instinct and don't worry about the FG's mother, this is your decision, not hers. These are my top three choices, I will let my FG chose the one she likes best. My first choice: (flower would be different and would be in back) My second choice: (Again, flower would be in back) My third choice:

I am using the same ones as Valentinegirl--I think they are US angels style 702 and they are soooo adorable! My gown is diamond white and the FG are ivory dresses with a sash to match the BM dresses

I have 2FGs, my FHs neices (they will be 8 at the wedding). They will not be wearing white.
My 2BMs are wearing a color called steel blue. (It's a little like wedgewood only darker and with a grey undertone) The FG dress will be light blue (it's called star) with the steel blue sash and around the boarder.
They are boarder-line for junior BMs and I wanted more color in the bridal party. I didn't choose the steele blue for them, because I didn't want them to be overpowered by it.
I know that a lot of people like the FG to look like a little bride. I don't know what your dress looks like, but I do think that 3 is young to wear the other dresses. It sounds like you will have problems with your family if you dress the girls differently. You might want to dress them in the same dress.

??? Oh, this is one thing I haven't even began to look at! Are FG dresses bought off the rack, or do you place an order? how long does it take for them to come in? I think i'm really behind on this one
