What are your guest throwing at the church?

My church is very, very picky as to what can and cannot be used. Any suggestions?

Mine is too. Pretty much my only choice is bubbles.

we are not allowed to use rice or rosepetals outside we really dont want bubbles i figure it will be cold people will not want to stand there blowing bubbles i really like the sparklers but i dont know if it will be dark? i also like the ribbon wands

my church is very picky too, but we can use that 'wedding rice.' That's what we'll use. I really wanted petals, but they don't allow it.

i dont think i mean they actually sell wedding sparklers i have heard of bubbles staining dresses too---who knows lol

I'm doing bubbles. They arrived last week and I tried them outside wearing a silk shirt, and no marks at all

We are using silverbells. I'm not allowed to throw anything, and I don't want bubble rings on my dress. So the bells were the next best thing for us. Plus our wedding is a week before Christmas, so it fits the season.

I did an herbal toss (lavendar, rosemary, thyme and some rose petals and mini-daisy flowers)

My church is picky too- I am using lavender buds and bubbles- they didn't say anything about lavender buds

We weren't able to throw anything so we handed out bells to everyone who came to the church. It sounded really cool when we came out!

We did that inside the church when they pronounced us 'man and wife'. IT did sound cool!

First, we spray painted drink stirrers to match the little white and silver bells. Then we attached the 2 together using lilac ribbon.

So, I call them our bell-ribbon wands. For an extra touch, we put stickers on them so it says 'Love' on one side and has hearts on the other.

They're really cute, I love them!!! The pic is a lil out of focus, but you get the idea!
