What are your guests throwing outside the church?

We are only allowed to use birdseed. Boo! I wanted to do flower petals or something more colorful. I was thinking about ribbon wands, but I'm not sure if they are too young for us. We're 31/32 and getting married at a catholic church.

i don't associate the ribbon wands with an age so if you like them, you should def get them

We are only 'allowed' birdseed too because rice is a waste of food - at least that is the explanation in the church manual. I bought lavendar rice to throw - it's biodegradable and safe for the environment. I figure if birdseed is ok, then this should be . . . i hope.

flower petals.. I bought the freeze dried ones so they have been in my house for the last 2 weeks.. and my wedding is in 3 weeks.

your guests can use the ribbon wands at the reception too while their dancing.

Since it's in December, I am planning on using the fake snow -it biodegradable!

I am thinking of doing the ribbon, and I am older than you. So if you want to use that I would say go for it!!
