My wedding is at the Crest Hollow. My family lives in Astoria (40 minutes from CHCC). I don't know what to do with them after the wedding. We are all taking limos there and my fiance and I will probably stay at a nearby hotel and have his father drive us to our apt/house (wherever that may be) the next day.
If my parents and sister book 2 hotel rooms that will be about $300. I could arrange for a cab to pick them up and drive them home and that would be a lot less.
Any ideas?
The reason I'm thinking about the cab is b/c my parents are particular about where they sleep and are those type of people that only feel comfortable in their own home. I know limos offer pick ups and drop offs but that will probably be a lot of $$$$$$$$$$ right?

My parents and some of FH's Aunts and mother that wont take the bus will get a limo home

My parents will probably stay at the hotel after, not sure yet though. I'm pretty sure FIL's plan to stay at the hotel though.

My RH is only 20-25 minutes from home so we don't have this problem. Since they are particular about where they stay, I think maybe you should just provide transportation for them home afterwards.

My brother and his friend are going to probably drive out my parents' car to the RH that morning so the car is there afterwards. A few groomsmen and bms will do the same.

My RH is only ten minutes home, so they'll be taking a cab.

How about a town car service to take them home. It would cost a little more than a cab.

You can have them or someone drive a car to the hotel the night before the wedding. Then after the wedding have them stay at the hotel and theyll have the car in the morning to go home =)

IF they dont want to stay at the hotel and you arre using a limo company for other things during the day, I would say see if your limo company would provide them with a sedan for a return trip.. it may end up being less epxneisve doing it through the limo company since they can lump it into your package

My parents (along with me & FH & other guests) are staying in a hotel & probably doing a little brunch the next day.
I agree that u should talk to ur limo company and see. Then u can call a cab or other places to compare.

Maybe I will do that.
Thanks girls for all your help. Having them drive their car to the RH the night before so they can drive back was a good suggestion BUT my mother and sis don't drive. And my father normally wakes up at around 4 AM and I'd rather not have him drive back to Queens after he has been up for almost 24 hours. I will definitely ask the limo companies (when I meet with them) about having a sedan pick them up.
