I think they are adorable, but they are more appropriate for afternoon weddings. But thats just me.

I also think they are nice but are more for an afternoon wedding.

same here... i think you can also get away with them at a friday or sunday night wedding BUT to me saturday evening is more formal unless you are not going for a formal affair

unless it is summer...i think you can always get away with it...JMO

I like tea length dresses, but not for my wedding. I kinda feel that if my invitations say black tie optional, then my girls should be in long dresses. My sisters are my MOH's and they r busting to wear tea length, but I can't give in on it. I think long look smore formal!

i wore a tea length BM gown for my friend's wedding and we got SO many compliments on the dress! it was a late sunday afternoon wedding in august (4pm start).

just wanted to add that i am 5'3' and so is my other friend (asian one) so there really isn't a height problem! (just need to get it fitted properly)

here's a pic (please excuse the prom-like pose!)

I LOVE tea-length!

This is the dress that made me put this post up - I love it so much but am afriad how it will look on my shorter, and heavier BMs.

i had my BM's wear them also and none of them are very tall, but they looked great on everyone!

I like tea length. They are perfect for a spring or summer wedding. I am thinking about having my BMs wear tea length also. I'd say go for it!!!

I think it depends........
How formal is the wedding ? Is it day or evening ?
How formal is YOUR gown ??
Also, and this is JMO, i don't like the way tea length looks on shorter girls, esp. if they're not the type to run around in stilletos !!

I think they are very pretty, but would seem more appropriate for a spring or summer wedding.

I thnk they are fine for anytime if accessorised properly, but especially OK for an early evening affair.

I love them. But it depends on the type of wedding look you are going for. I am try to keep things elesgant so I chose floor length gowns. I don't feel that tea length dresses have the same elegance as the longer versions.

I also thing that tea length dresses are only good in the warmer months (May to September). I think it would be cold for the BMs' to wear them outside of this time frame.
