We're having a daytime wedding in May. The girls colors are a burgandy/wine. I'm in Ivory. We're trying to decide what color tuxes.
1) Straight black with a bow tie 2) Light gray with a vest and regular tie 3) Black with silver/plat vest and regular tie
Thoughts/ feelings?

I vote for #1 (biased cause thats what we did).
We almost went for the regular tie (because I really like that look) but decided it may be a fad and is more likely to look dated than the classic bowtie.
I'm partial to black tuxedos - I really don't like other colors. The silver vest may look nice - only concern is silver and ivory don't go so well. Would your FI be in the same vest?

Probably. I have to say that the ivory is almost a white. They had to tell us it was ivory because it just looked like a light white. I'm nervous that we might be introducing too many colors.
