Re: What are/were your old/new testiment readings?
I think we might use this as one of our readings. I got the suggestion from one of the 06ers, KvsGrl
From Book of Matthew 18:20: Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brought you together. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, gentleness and kindness that your connection deserves. When frustration, difficulties and fear assail your relationship, as they threaten all relationships at one time or another, remember to focus on what is right between you, not only the part which seems wrong. In this way, you can ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in your lives... remembering that even if you lose sight of it for a moment, the sun is still there. And if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight.

Re: What are/were your old/new testiment readings?
We're using
Old Testament: Song of Songs (in English) New Testament: 1 Corinthians 13 (in Spanish)
I'll try to find the verses...
ETA: Ok, here are the verses:
Song of Songs 2:8-10, 14, 16a; 8:6-7a) Hark! my beloved! behold, he cometh, leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young hart; behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh in through the windows, he peereth through the lattice. My beloved spoke, and said unto me: 'Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.' My beloved is mine, and I am his.
Set me as a seal upon thy heart, as a seal upon thine arm; for love is strong as death, jealousy is cruel as the grave; the flashes thereof are flashes of fire, a very flame of HaShem. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.
1 Corinthians 13 Love If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Thanks Mrs. Q. I am going to use the same New Testiment reading, but I am having trouble with the Old Testiment.
