What band goes with a four prong round stone with channel setting?
What do you guys think? I've always like the eternity band - common prong round diamonds all around, but I was told that wouldn't look right with my channel settings, and I definitely want to wear both rings on the same hand!

You should get a channel setting for your wedding band also so it matches.

Good point, but it might be too boring! The same band going around twice...I don't know. My stone is set pretty high too, which I love, so it might make it easier to have a band sit flush against the e-ring.
By the way - I just saw a pic of your oval e-ring - I love it!

I have a round four pronged e-ring...and I'm hoping for an eternity band!
I would go and try on a bunch of different styles and see which one you like best up against your e-ring!
Btw - read your earlier post about your wiggly stone...did you get that fixed?? That is my fear, b/c I also have a relatively larger diamond in a 4 pronged setting!

I have a solitaire 4 prong setting that sits high and the channel setting worked best with my ring. I have a round stone not an oval. My wedding band is all round diamonds in a channel setting. If you think it will be too boring you could do one that has some sort of design to it.

Becks23 - you are such a sweetheart! i took everyone's advice, took off my ring immediately and put it back in the box. First thing this AM I went to 47th street and they tightened the prongs in about 2 seconds. I felt so much better! They told me it got 'wiggly' because I accidentally hit the prongs against a table or something. I am a very 'dramatic' talker and I use my hands a lot - I need to be more careful!!

Oh thank g-d you got it fixed! That makes me nervous though, because I have definitely banged mine against my desk a few times! What jeweler on 47th did you go to? Was it the one FH got your ring at? I am looking for a jeweler in the city I can go to check my prongs every so often...I can't go to where my FH got my ring b/c they don't deal with the public typically...

Yes my FH got my e-ring on 47th street......I actually think the address is 47 west 47th street....I think if you go into any store, smile pretty and pretend to be interested in their wedding bands they will definitely fix your prongs for you!!!
I like the 4 prong b/c it shows off the stone more - but for larger stones it's definitely a bit risky, right?

Yes! As much as I love the larger stone and 4 prongs, I live in fear that I will look down at my ring one day and my diamond will be missing!
