how about a strawberry shortcake with chocolate syrup? you can put strawberries and whip cream in between the layers and then drizzel chocolate syrup on top - yummy.
I think it would taste good with chocolate frosting too.

Maybe you could make it in a bundt pan and then drizzle some type of chocolate or strawberry sauce over it.
I like the chocolate syrup or strawberries idea...
teri...its not yellow...its white...but its not angel food either...I don't know why I bought it

In a square glass pan, lay pie filling (any fruit). Mix 1 stick of melted butter, 3 tbs of cinnamon, and the dry cake mix in a bowl. Spoon moistened cake mix over the pie filling, and bake in the oven at the temp you would bake the cake until the topping is browned. Yum!

Yum!!! I only buy white cake, I really don't like the taste of yellow. It's just like yellow, but tastes less 'eggy' to me. Try it, I always make it with chocolate or vanilla icing.

Check out the book 'cake doctor' it has all sorts of recipes for dressing up plain cake mixes !!! It's written by Anne Byrn.
