what can I expect at a bridal show?

I am going to my first bridal show friday ay villa lomndari's in Holbrook! I have always dreamed of getting married there.. any info on the place and what can I expect at the bridal show? did anyone get any quotes for 2007 yet??? thanks

Villa shows are nice, very good food!! They basically set it up like a cocktail hour in one room. Then in the other room they have a bunch of vendors along the walls handing out tons of information. It's helpful to go somewhere that's giving out bags first (usually the HM places), then you can throw everything in there!!

That goes on for about an hour or 2, then you sit and a DJ and a band demonstrate for about a half hour. Sometimes there's a fashion show too. They're fun and sometimes I still go to these shows even tho I have everything already!!

HM is honeymoon These are some other abbreviations you'll see very often on this site:
BM- banquet manager
BP- bridal party
MOH - maid of honor
IMO- in my opinion
FH - future husband
FMIL - future mother-in-law
FFIL - future father in law
DH - dear husband
DOC - day of coordinator
