What cell phone service do you have?

What cell phone service do you have?

And do you like it?
I'm trying to decide between T-Mobile and Verizon. T-Mobile gives you so many minutes and I like that you can use it overseas, but I heard its coverage is very spotty. Though I also heard Verizon's customer service stinks. I'd be switching over from Cingular because my phone broke, and it would probably cost an arm and a leg to get a new one. Thanks!

I've had Verizon for about 5 years & the coverage is great & I've had no problem with customer service. We recently had to change FH's number when he got his phone b/c of the area code & it was taken care of promptly and nicely.

I'd highly recommend Verizon.

i've had verizon for a while now i'm in a family share plan, so i don't pay that much per month, considering my cousin gets a discount through work. my coworker used to have t-mobile but had to cancel after only a few months cause the service was terrible, and demanded that she didn't get a cancellation fee.

I have Tmobile. I love them. Never have a dropped call AT ALL. Love LOVE LOVE them. Had at&t for years and Tmobile out does them. My DH has Verizon and can't wait to switch to tmobile.

I really think it all depends on where you live. People are constantly saying so and so service is horrible... but someone in another area will love it and never have a problem.

I had T-Mobile and switched to Verizon....I love Verizon..I felt that T-Mobile was a rip off

I'm a Verizon fan.....I'm on the family plan with my immediate family members and we've never had any sort of problems with them. We all have enough minutes, the price is just right and never had a problem with any of their phones!!

I've had Verizon since 1998. I think it's great. All of my frineds complain about their service and my phone works where no one else's will. I've been all over with it, traveling and everything and I really never get dropped calls or low service or anything!!! The only time I had a rpoblem was with this horrid motorola phone I had, but since I got my samsung(the one they have the deal on now) it's been absolutely great. No complaints at all!

Oh but do NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy your phone and plan at radio shack, the phone is differnet the warranty is different and they are shady. The manager at radio shack actually BROKE my phone right in front of me so he did't have to fix it (again) under warranty. He broke the screen and then said there was physcal damage so I voided the warranty.

ETA: Verizon's custmer service has been GREAT, except for when we had the plan through radio shack..that was AWFUL. Everything is different. When the phone wasn;t working they were going to give us a newphone until they saw it was fromr adio shack then they said there was nothing they could do and with radio shack I had to send the phone away several times and then when the manager got sick of me, he rboke my phone. So get ti form the verizon store and you should have no problems. I've found verizon custmer service to be very good

Dont get Cingular!!!! I have it now and I HATE IT! I get crappy service all over Long Island, and even when I went to Florida my phone barely worked. My cell phone doesnt even work in my house, and when I complained to them they told me they dont understand why it doesnt work because they have 3 towers within 3 miles of my address. I then told them that I really dont know the answer to that, but I do know that my sister who has verizion gets perfect service in my house, and can even use her phone in the basement.

ETS: My phone works EXCELLENT in Manhattan, but that is the only place it does. I have 5 bars all the time there.

Verizon...some family members have cingular and don't get service where I do with my verizon phone. I haven't really heard anything about T-mobile though.

I have Verizon now and I am very happy with it. I will be switching to Cingular because DH is starting to work there and he will get some amazing discount. Cigular should be better than all of them since they merged with AT&T and they have the most cell towers and coverage..but I guess there will always be spots that it doesn't work. It is wireless..

On another note, my Verizon service doesn't work in my house either.

had verizon- had to switch b/c i got a Treo/Palm and the tmobile service was less expensive for my office (i get cell for free b/c of after hour calls)

verizon was great

t mobile sticks!! im soo not a fan, i miss verizon

VERIZON all the way!!! I had FH switch when his plan ended...he LOVES it! He's so surprised that he can drive and actually hear a conversation when he passes 'the spot' on his way home from work. Also...I've had no problems with their customer service.

DH literally snapped his phone in half and threw it in the trash b/c he was sooooooo fed up with the it.

Us too. We are most likely going to Verizon after DH's contract is up because Cingular stinks!
