Nextel has good service I was gonna get it but I dont know to many people who have it. So I dont think it pays unless your friends all have it.

I am with the dredded Sprint people.

I love it. Been with them since 99. No problems. My phone was *ahem* lost and they reversed all charges on the phone from the time I last saw it until I got a new one. Good thing cause it was $300 in Dominican Republic Phone calls..

I travel, so I make calls to and from out of state often. I needed service in Iowa, Texas, California & New York. Free Long distance no matter where I am calling from. I REALLY hate that 'home calling area' stuff that other folks do. If im in Iowa calling California, or in New York calling Texas or in Texas calling Iowa, I don't want to be charged.

I get 300 minutes and unlimited nights & weekends. But I use my phone 'old school' type. I use it when I not near my office phone, not near the house phone and not driving. I pull over and stop to talk. Never have lengthy conversations on the train. I like my conversations private. Ya'll don't need to know what Im talking about on the phone, so I don't make real use of it publically.

I call my father EVERY sunday (It's Football season). I try to call my brother once a month. I call FH only to say where I'll be for him to picked me up.

So for $30 a month that's good service for me.

We have verizon and have been pretty pleased with the service. We are considering switching to nextel for the direct connect feature, but we're not sure yet.

I have always had Sprint. Not too many problems and I enjoy the perks of calling my friends and family who have Sprint without taking any of minutes.

I have an at&t and I love it, I also have a nextel and I am not crazy about it, the direct connect is cool but the service isn't great around me.

sprint pcs and for the most part am very happy with it. though, there are pockets across long island, such as huntington village, where you don't get a good signal.
