When i first got engaged i was originally thinking of a february date with deep red BM dresses but now FH and I finalized on a May date so now I have no idea of what color BM dresses to have ... I wanted something that stands out not too pale.
what about a tropical color like tangerine, turquoise, or hot pink?
It's may, color of emerealds... Why not that deep green? Kelly green? Emereald? I like deep yellow or turquoise.
what about something like this....
In may you can do almost anything or a version of anything. Spring colors are greens, yellows, blues, pinks, but you can even incorporate deeper blues, oranges or reds. I would look at your hall and ideas you have and see what works best with it. A problem I had was I first wanted to do Tiffany Blue, but then I saw a pic of BMs in a Tiffany blue dress and I thought it was too much blue, so I chose a different shade and I am so much happier so far.

I don't think it really matters - I'm a May bride and I picked chocolate brown as my BM color, so that their flowers will stand out - fuschia pink, with touches of green.
I don't think it matters as long as you're happy .

I agree, I am getting married in may and I want taupe bm dresses but also have been considering chocolate brown lately

Thats a very dark brown but a very pretty dress, I would like to see what the taupe color looks like as well
I intended to use pink - but my MOH decided she didn't like the pink gown she had chosen and bought a dress in honeydew (melon) green about 2 weeks before the wedding. It looked great though! Check out my album.
