I was going with white roses and everyone told me that it wouldnt look right. Now im thinking it wont look good, what do you think? Thanks
When I went to that March on Madison wedding event, Preston Bailey said that red and white is not a good color combination.
red and white remind me of christmas (which could work for you) or Valentines day, We tried on the Euro red.. Cream might be ok why not take a swatch and show it to your florist
I am using white roses w/ the red dresses but its Valentines Day so I loved the way it looked. This is how my pics should look w/ colors. I also have these flower girl dresses.
I vote cream roses. I'm doing burgundy and cream colors with a hint of silver. The BMs bouquets will have both burgundy and cream flowers with more cream flowers. And the colors are perfect for the time of year you are getting married.
you oculd do shades of red...i don't have pictures on here that i can post they are all on paper, but i have seen pictures of all red bouquets...if there are different shades it would look so pretty....
I was thinking about eithe black/white dresses or red. I planned to do white roes or calla lilies if my BM wear red. I think the picture in this thread shows how lovely it could be.
Personally, I like the white roses. But, if you're against them, the cream sounds nice but so does a bouquet of multi colors like cream, pink, red...
my girls are wearing bordeux- a deep red and they are holding cream bouquets of roses. the contrast looks nice- but it is also a feb wedding.
My dresses are apple red from Davids and my bridesmaids bo-ks will be a blush pink roses and deep burgundy roses. There will also be those berries mixed in. I dont know the name but it is the first boutinerre (sp?) in the thread that's up now. It sounds wierd but when the florist put it up against the swatch, it looked great! I also picked all burgundy roses for my bo-k.
I think im gonna stick with the white roses. The florist said she will add holly under the roses since it is so close to christmas i guess it will look ok. Or else i MIGHT go with different shades of red. Ill see. Thanks for all the help.
I once saw girls in red carrying lavender, red and white roses. It looked really pretty.
personally, i really like the red and white combo. if you dont want to do all white then maybe mix white, red and pinks. cream roses would also look great with the red.
I have bright red dresses and my girls are carring sunflowers. THey look great with the dress. Not sure what color euro red is but.... take a sample to the florist, I'm sure they'll be able to help.
