I'm a Fall bride (that's my absolute favorite season) but I don't necessarily want the USUAL fall scheme. So what I'm doing is Burnt Orange, Brown & Purple. I know it sounds pretty gross but I just know that it will look great together. Nevermind that I can't find any pics to prove this.
So anyway...our Groomsmen are wearing Chocolate Brown Suits. Should my bridesmaids wearing Purple Dresses with bouquets with Orange as the dominant color or should they wear Orange Dresses with bouquets with Purple as the dominant color?
I was originally thinking purple dresses but am afraid that will be too dark against the suits. Then I thought the orange would be great but didn't want my girls to feel like pumpkins.
All thoughts and comments are welcome.
(The pics & link I've attached have at least two of the colors but I can't find anyone with all three)
I think the orange with purple is more fall than purple with orange...

I like orange and brown.. I think those are more of fall colors then the purple. And I also think the purple and brown will come up too dark in pictures together, you need a contrast. Thats just my opinion!
I'm very excited to see everything you do, because I'm a fall bride & I plan on doing a fall theme!!

I voted for purple dress with orange flowers. LOVE those colors together. FH and I were thinking of getting married in the fall and I told him that I would want the BM dresses to be deep purple and for them to carry orange flowers. He wasn't so sure about the color scheme but I told him that those colors look gorgeous together!!! We ended up booking for the spring but would have gone with the purple and orange if we were getting married in the fall.

im actually a big fan of the eggplant purple color! think that would look great with orange bo-ks!
See this is exactly what I was imagining in my head. My worry is that when we're in a group, it won't look right because of the groomsmen's suits.

You can have a the groomsmen wear a pocketsquare in the same color as the bridesmaids dresses and then have them wear an orange bout. That would look AWESOME!
I did something similar and it looked fantastic!

No I sure hadn't!! That's certainly a thought. I'm unconventional so I won't be wearing white (I'm wearing bronze or copper). Still in the brown family but maybe too much brown? Hmmm....I'll have to think on that...it may be the perfect solution (with purple and orange accents)

I think if you do orange dresses it will look like Thanksgiving threw up in your photos.
However, a purple that has more of a red tone than a blue one will look fantastic with the brown suits and orange flowers... like more of a raisiny color than an indigo... (violet?)
