What color carpet would you do in this room?

I never had carpet before buying this house so I am clueless when it comes to carpet. I am so use to having Hard wood floors which goes with everything. But with the baby carpeting is really convient he loves them!

Here's the pic.

I plan on painting the bottom half of his room a dark blue and the the top half white. What color carpet would you put?

OMG .. who did that mural for you??? That's painted on one of the walls??? It looks amazing!!!!

What if you kept the baseball theme, and used green carpet??? (Would seem like grass)

From the pictures .. it looks like the green goes all the way around the room?? Maybe do a 'sky' above the green on the walls??

I would use a neutral color...this way it doe snot take away from the room...

I like the idea of a green carpet, to make it seem like 'grass'. Very cute mural!

I agree that green would look great, although my sister had green carpet in one of her bedrooms and she is constantly vacuuming because it shows every piece of lint, etc. Just a warning.

BTW, I love that mural!!

How about a beige-y berber carpet with like little flecks of other colors in it? It neutral at least.

I think green.... Hides little boy dirt...

I think the grey color tha tis in the 'stands' in the painting would be a good carpet color.
and it goes with both blue & white.

It would tie it all together.

Really dark colors like green ( and burgendy like I have ) shows light color lint & things as much as light colors like beige show dirt.

I say go with gray, not a dark gray or a taupe-like color that is pretty neutral.

I'd def go with dark hunter/forest green. i had it in my old apt and while i had to vacuum alot, it looked great. i love the idea of having it look like grass. what a great room!

I'm thinking about going with the gray. I agree the green will look like grass, but I'm not to fond of hunter green and if Andrew doesn't like the mural or the Yankees I'm going to paint over it anyway. So I'm thinking a neutral carpet will look better if we ever want to do something different in his room.
