I do not like the way white looks on me. Every dress that I fall in love with is ivory or champagne. I was wondering how many brides do not pick white for their dress color.

another thing to consider is how the beading and crystals would look with your color dress.
They showed me how my crystals will stand out if i have white or ivory...the ivory makes the crystals have this antique type look, it was very nice
I never even thought of that. The majority of dresses that I have tried have minimal beading. But, I am really looking into lace sheath dresses and find that ivory or champagne makes the lace look more antique and complements my skin tone.

my dress is white, but it has pink in it...and the very top of the dress is pink, so the pink will be against my skin. i'm a little nervous about the white though b/c i'm so pale...hope it looks ok.

mine is white!!! I tried it on in Ivory or off white (whatever it was called) and the color wasn't right for me!

I had my heart set on white before I stated to try on dresses......
When I finally went to try them on I had my poor little heart broken.
I hated the white dresses......the ivory ones looked so much better on me.

yeah the ladies who helped me were great and very knowledgeable about all this...i am so glad i did have them help me bc its good to have someone who will know these little things and find the best thing for you
