I would most likely try to have them dyed to the color of the dress

I wore a burgundy/wine bm dress a few years ago, and the bride didnt want us to have to buy shoes to dye them (and possibly never wear them again) so we wore open toed silver and they looked great! Annnnndddd I've worn them several other times since then, which I cannnot say for any other bm shoes I've worn!!

I haven't picked my BM dresses yet, but I want them to be wine. I was just thinking about having the shoes dyed to match.

I just bought my silver shoes for my cousin's wedding - the dress is burgundy. I love my silver shoes.
