What color shoes with this dress?

So if all goes well I think this is my BM dress. What color shoes go with this dress? I was thinking silver, but I don't know. Also since they are tea length dresses and the shoes are going to be seen does it matter if they have different shoes or do you think they should be the same? TIA

Silver or gold, but Iagree with Peg on the gold.

Matching is up to you and your BP, I don't think matching is signifigant,but that is JMO

I agree with silver or champagne. I like the color of the shoes the model has on.

i like the ones she has on in the photo...they look like a gold or like a camel color...very pretty. u could also do diable as long as it's a nice strappy shoe. since they're tea length i would go with something dainty. REALLY pretty dress btw - who makes it?? it's lovely

You should definatley have them wear the same shoe, maybe in different heights if that is a problem.
dyables work great but i understand some of the negatives.
Silver or gold is ok but it depends on what jewelry you're using. You wouldn't want to clash.
plush metalic will draw alot of attention to the shoe....
perhaps a softer color with a matte finish.
What color is the dress exactly? plum? brown?
i couldn't tell from the picture.

What time of year are you getting married?

It depends what color scheme you're going for. If you want more fall-ish I would go with gold...if its a summer or winter color scheme i'd say silver. you could probably go eitehr way for spring!

i would get shoes dyed to match ...colorifics or dyeables has so many to choose form

My dress was a similar color (a bit more red).
My girls wore different shoes (even though they had agreed on champagne/gold...2 got black shoes because they got confused. Honestly, it didn't matter and it was a relief to think that they could realistically wear the shoe with something else.

I say gold, champagne or bronze. I wouldn't do dyables.

I think silver shoes would be nice along with silver toned jewelry to match. They can all wear different shoes as long as the metalic tone matches. You don't want someone with a brushed/muted shine and another with aluminum foil silver. Is it just me or are dyeables the most uncomfortable shoes ever? Haven't been able to find a comfortable pair they always seem so hard.


these are really comfy! i hate strappy or stiff shoes and these are great. they look awful in the pink though

The dress is a wine/burgandy color and our wedding is in august.

Definitely the silver or gold. I agree - let your BMs wear shoes that they could wear again.

My BM dresses are tea-length as well and I told them to wear whatever shoe style and heel height they are comforable with.

Honestly....I doubt anyone would notice their shoes except for you. All the eyes will be on your bright big smile (not even on YOUR shoes), so I definitely think you should let your girls wear whatever shoes in which she feels most comfortable. I think choosing the color is fair, but even if you didn't, no one would notice if everyone wore different colors (unless they choose hot pink or leopard print!). I LOVE that dress, btw!
