The dads are wearing the same tux as the other guys but do their vest color match the mothers dresses or the rest of the guys? The GM's are wearing chocolate brown vests to match the girls dresses. Should the dads match the moms keeping in mind the moms dresses are different colors.

From what I have seen at other weddings, the fathers wear all black tuxes/ suits.

My dad owns a tux, so I don't think he will be matching my FFIL. My dad's tux is a regular black bow tie, black vest tux. Which is also what I want my groomsman in.

So what would you suggest? My girls are in chocolate brown dresses with gold shoes and jewlery. My moms dress is a very deep champagne almost tan and my FMIL is going to be wearing rust. I was concerned about putting the dads in all black because my colors are brown.

All black. The idea with a tux is to let the woman shine.
Matching colors looks too prom-y, and really isn't appropriate for a tuxedo.
