So I knew I wouldn't be able to resist the pure guido-ness of this bedding, and I've tragically succumbed and added it to the registry:
Now what color walls would work? We're thinking a mocha because we intend on getting dark wood furniture, and it should be neutral enough for this kind of dramatic bedding.
Any other suggestions, or do you think mocha would work?

I kinda stink at decorating but I just want to tell you I love the set!

I think a beige color mocha might clash, but your best bet is to go to a paint store and get those little paint chips and than compare them next to the set. HTH!

I agree. I am not sure how dark mocha is but if it is on the darker side, I think beige would go better.

As soon as I saw it I thought mocha, something in the brown family as well.

i feel like mocha, or at least the version of mocha that i have in my head lol, might be too dark with such a bold color. maybe if you just did an accent wall that color, or i'm thinking like a warm camel color. Kind of a darker shade of the lighter color in the set, ya know? so its still in the same family but still totally neutral if you want to change your bedding in the future.

I'm decorating and color challenged so I went to Home Depot, they have a whole section of color charts, they even have little color booklets that show you what colors go together. It really helped me narrow down what colors I want my bedroom and dining room to be.
I would normally say something gold would go with burgundy but you already have a burgundy and gold comforter so it might be too much....

Very pretty!!! I just started our registry last night at midnight and couldn't wait to get up and add more!!! But I'm having the what goes with what issue!! I think i have to go see in person. I think an ivory would work best for your set.

I would probably say a shade in the mocha family, but maybe a little lighter than mocha if that makes any sense

Honestly, I think you should match your bed set to your walls and not the other way around. You might change your bedding in the future. i also think mocha would be a little too dark. I'd go very neutral on the walls.
