......
Do u want them to match or not?
If so, then get the same color...

I'd do a champagne color veil, there should be some to try on in the store you picked out the dress! I'm not into traditional matching the shoes to the dress, I say its a little fun you can have that day, that nobody sees till the garter comes off!

im not really sure would ivory be too dark?? why dont you ask your bridal consultant at the shop where you bought it.. im sure they have some ideas.

you could even do blue shoes (as your something blue) or another fun color (match the BM dresses) then you could avoid the whole white vs. non white thing.

I'd request a swatch for Maggie, and go to a veil store with it so they can match it best for you!

i'm having a hard time figuring out what this color looks like in real life. it looks like an oyster color, am i right? or totally off?
how about when the dress comes in, you go try it on and pick out a veil then or at least look at what they have and see what colors match best with your dress?

ITA! The consultants at the store where you purchased your dress should be able to help.

As for shoes, you can do something silver and sparkly since you have some bling on top of your dress. You can also do blue for your something blue, or get ones the color of the bm dresses.

Or you can have them dyed to match your gown swatch!

I don't think I'd go with champagne because that color can get very dark. I'd probably go with a dark ivory or oyster, but if you could get a dress swatch that woud be ideal.

Thanks for all your help ladies...Of course I would choose an odd ball color dress I thought since Maggie Sottero is popular on here and almost half their dresses come in Alabaster someone else would have their dress in that color...guess not I was shooting towards ivory as well. Never even thought of the color oyster.

I was told alabaster isn't as dark as ivory. I think your best bet will be to get a swatch. I think oyster might be more pink or gray???

with the detail in the dress, you could probably get a shoe that has those like, antique-y looking rhinstones on straps...that way, you are avoiding a color all together!

There are many different shades of ivory- my dress was ivory but looking at it you'd never be able to tell. The shoes/veil I purchased were 'light ivory'.
