WHAT COMES FIRST

Do I pick out my tiara and then figure out how I want to wear my hair or figure out my hair first?

My hair stylist wants me to pick it out first and then go for a trial, but what if I want to wear my hair half up and half down and just go with a nice clip instead of a full blown tiara?

I'm confused

What are you ladies doing?

i already have my headpiece and i'm bringing it with me for my trials...stylists usually like to know what kind of headpiece you're going to have so that they know what they're working with..but let the stylist know you want half up-half down and are doing a clip..they'd probably still want to know what the clip looks like so if you have a picture i suggest bringing it with you..

well i decided on a certain type of hairstyle( im not sure to the exact way ) but if you are debating between half up or all up...etc i would pic out the hairstyle first then the tiara

I chose my hair style first and now that my dress is in I can pick a head piece of some sort

I think you should try to have a general idea of what you want to do with your hair prior to buying the headpiece. Even if you don't know exactly, it would probably make shopping for a headpeice easier if you knew you are going to have your hair all up, all down, or half up half down.
