I am going to mail them probably 3 months before my date and have the RSVP to be 3 weeks before my date that way there is enough time to track down people who havent sent them back and to give my RH a final count number

agreed. you want to know the last number by the 2 week mark so anywhere between 3-4 weeks will be good --- just make sure you aren't stressing about tracking people down!! you will have enough to worry about then!

Our wedding is May 7, 2011
We mailed our invites on Feb 26 and our RSVP date is March 31st. I'm going to call any non-responders up until April 2nd and that is the cut off date.
