our wedding is on July 16th 2006? I was thinking it should be like June 1st. My sister said it should be more like June 16th. What do you all think I should put?
note- The invitations are going in the mail on Monday!!!!

Well date twin...mine is June 4th....we mailed them last week.....
I think June 16th is cutting it close...you know you are going to have to chase after some people to get their RSVPS and I thought June 4th gave us enought time

You usually have to give the hall all counts one month before. So I would defenatly do the begining of June. And mail them out soon!!!!!

I think the sooner the better. Besides it gives those people who do everything at the last minute a little extra time, even though they don't know it, lol.

We're giving ourselves three weeks before our final count at the hall is due. We have to give our final count two weeks before, so we're doing 5 weeks. That gives a week for the stragglers and two weeks to call and track people down.

Well my wedding date is a day before you and our rsvp date is June 9. But i think June 16 is fine as well and I feel like it also depends on the size of your wedding. the more people you have the more time you want to give them and yourself so you can start organzing tables

Hi date twin - I did June 16th. One month is fine.
(I haven't mailed mine either!!)
I also have some 'B' list guests (work people) and if my response date was earlier it would be very obvious to them.

My wedding is the day b4 you & we did June 8. We have to give our hall a FINAL count 2 weeks before so you don't want to be chasing tons of peeps at the last minute

I would give myself at least 1 week before the deadline to give the final headcount to the RH. You will need a few days to track the unanswered invitation.
