What day of the week is everyone's rehearsal dinner?
I'm getting married on a Friday night and was wondering if it is awkward to have the dinner during the week?

We're getting married on a Thursday and having our rehearsal dinner the Friday before our wedding.
P.S. I don't think having it during the week is awkward at all. It doesn't have to run late into the night (rehearsal & dinner) if that's what you're worried about.

Ours is on a Saturday night and only because we're getting married at the Milleridge Cottage on a Sunday and we're not having a traditional rehearsal...so our dinner will be called a Pre-Wedding Celebration.
Having it during the week though is fine...I've been to rehearsals during the week...it's no big deal.

We are getting married on a Sat and having our rehearsal and RD on a Sat two weeks before my wedding.

My wedding is on a Friday night. I am planning on having the rehersal dinner on that Thursday night. This was all our out of town bridesmaids and groomsmen can be there.
I don't think having it during the week should be a problem.:

Our wedding was on Saturday. However, due to power struggle and after much compromise with both mothers we ended up having our RD on Wednesday rather than the traditional day/night before the wedding which was suppose to be on Friday. My mother wanted to invite 30+ OOT's to the RD as they travelled far and wide to attend our big day. Our RD was suppose to be intimate with our wedding party members only but my mother wanted a big fat show/gala event for our RD. It upsetted my mother a lot for a Wednesday RD but she compensated her high maintenance family with 2 lavish pre-wedding parties on Thursday and Friday. Four Seasons and March Restaurants.
Our RD and rehearsal was on Wednesday of the same week of our Saturday wedding.

My wedding is on a Saturday and my rehearsal is the Friday two weeks before. I know that seems far! My Church only has Friday rehearsals and I didn't want the night before and the week before several people in the bridal party are in another wedding.

We were married on a Firday night and had the dinner on Thursday. It was fine. It's a nice way to take a break and breathe rather than freaking out the night before. Everyone had a great time and we were home by 11
